Macky Pascual
Mr. Pascual is a history professor at the
Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) where he teaches Methods of Research in History, The Life, Works, and Ideas of Jose Rizal, Local and Oral
History, Pre-colonial Asia, and Colonial and Contemporary Asia.
His critique on Huling Pahina’s script and the entire production contributed
to the faithful reproduction of the respective personas of Rizal’s characters. Being a history and culture specialist, he
has already served as a resource person in Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho (GMA7) several
times, in TV5, and in conferences and seminars.
Mr. Pascual was Bong Ramos’ line producer in the
motion picture "Haw-Ang" (Before Harvest; 2007) and brainstormer in some of his
films. He co-wrote "Pahimakas ni Donya Teodora" (2011) which was mounted in PUP along with "Huling Pahina" (2010). Together with Mr. Ramos, Mr.
Pascual has facilitated workshops on acting within and outside Metro Manila.
